Julieta Eugenio, Argentinian Saxophonist based in New York City. Before moving to the United States, Julieta embedded herself into the Argentinian jazz scene and performed in renowned jazz venues in Buenos Aires. 

Julieta received her master’s degree from Queens College in New York City where she continues to reside and perform with talented musicians in the area. She recently had the opportunity to perform on one of the most prestigious jazz broadcasts in the United States, WBGO, and was featured on a piece on ABC7 News alongside trumpeter Philip Harper. 

Julieta has won numerous awards including the 2017 International Women in Jazz Competition as a member of the SIJ Trio and the 2022 DCJazzPrix for her own trio.

In March 2021 Julieta recorded her debut album, “JUMP” on Greenleaf Music. The album featured original compositions with special guests Jonathan Barber and Matt Dwonszyk. Later that year,  Julieta joined the SW!NG OUT stage production and performed at the Joyce Theater in NYC for a two-week residency with the Eyal Vilner Big Band and at the Guggenheim Museum for the Rotunda Solstice Concert.

She has also shared the stage with Jazz Legend Johnny O’Neal and has recorded with David Kikoski and Leon Parker.

The Julieta Eugenio Trio has performed at Dizzy’s Jazz Club, Jazz at Lincoln Center Summer Stage, Smalls Jazz Club, Bushnell Park Jazz Festival, Sam First, Just Jazz Series, and ETA Highland Park.

In October 2022, Julieta was nominated by the Jazz Music Awards for Best New Artist.
