Scott is so excited to be back at the Elkhart Jazz Fest! He is also excited about the release of his new album “Rhythm One”, which features Vibes, Marimba and other percussion instruments. On this project, Scott composed all of the tunes and plays all the instruments. He’s looking forward to introducing some of these new songs at this year’s festival.

In addition, Scott’s quartet will be paying tribute to the legends of the vibraphone, including Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson, Bobby Hutcherson & Gary Burton. The band also features music by composers and band leaders, Benny Goodman and George Shearing, that incorporated vibes into their signature sound.

The excellent musicians joining Scott this year will be Jesse Wittman (bass), Walter Brath (piano), and Cassius Goens (drums).
